Flaxseed tablets and fish oil are both rich in omega-3 fatty acids. According to research conducted by the Omega-3 Research Institute, these acids promote healthy skin, hair and nails. They are also essential for proper brain functioning, and supplementation with omega-3s has been used to effectively treat depression.
